Yes, an account is needed to allocate your personalized rewards. You can create one using either an email or a crypto wallet.
The method you choose when creating your account (email/social login for cash payouts via Stripe/PayPal, or crypto wallet for crypto payouts) is permanent and determines how you receive rewards.
👉 Note: If you don't complete your account registration within 12 months, any unclaimed rewards tied to your email will expire.
You can use popular sites like Booking.com or Expedia, and many others.

Not at all. You pay the same price you see on the booking site. The difference is that your trip will qualify for a reward through us.
Rewards are usually available 30–45 days after your trip ends. This time allows providers to confirm that your booking was completed.
We try to keep it simple, but here's what you'll see in your 2cents.club dashboard:
- Pending Your booking is being processed. We're waiting for confirmation that your trip was completed.
- Cancelled Your booking was cancelled or not completed, so no reward will be issued.
- Available Your trip has been confirmed and your reward is ready to be withdrawn!
- Processing You requested a payout, and we are actively transferring the funds to your account.
- Paid Your reward has successfully been sent to you! 🎉 (Also shown as Completed in your transactions list).
- Failed There was a technical issue transferring your payout (e.g., your bank rejected the deposit). Clicking on the failed transaction will show you the exact error and let you try again.
Your payout method is determined by how you create your 2cents.club account:
If you create your account with an email address: You can choose to receive your rewards securely via PayPal or via bank transfer using Stripe Connect.
- PayPal: Rewards are sent seamlessly to your connected PayPal email address.
- Stripe: Stripe securely handles direct bank transfers in supported countries. We never see your sensitive banking info.
If you create your account with a crypto wallet: Your rewards will be paid directly to your crypto wallet address.
You cannot change your payout method or transfer existing bookings, so switching methods requires creating a new account, and old bookings stay with the original account.
👉 Disclaimer: Stripe's policies, fees, and payout rules may change at any time. If Stripe updates their terms, our payout process may adjust accordingly.
For PayPal: You can update your PayPal email address directly in your account settings at any time, as long as you do not have any actively processing payouts.
For Stripe: To change or disconnect your connected bank account, please email us at [email protected] with the subject "Disconnect my Stripe account", and our team will handle it securely for you.
Keep in mind that disconnecting or changing your payout details before rewards are fully processed may delay or cancel pending payouts.
You can withdraw rewards starting from $20.
For Stripe Connect payouts, Stripe may apply standard fees, including currency conversion charges, depending on your payout settings. These fees are determined by Stripe and may change at any time.

For crypto wallet payouts, standard network transaction fees may apply.
If you cancel or don't complete your stay/activity, the provider won't confirm the booking, and no reward will be issued.
Yes! You'll still receive any loyalty points, rewards, or miles from your booking provider—plus our additional reward.
Absolutely. You always complete your booking directly on the provider's website (like Booking.com or Expedia). We don't change your reservation details—we just make sure it's linked for rewards.
